I can't help but wonder if the 'Oops, I did it again.' at the end of the song is reference to a cover of Britney Spear's Oops, I Did It Again, falsely labeled as by Mr. Bungle.

I first had this idea that it was about getting wasted and/or high, blacking out and killing someone (hence "there's blood on the ceiling, the carpet"), but it might just be about addiction in general. Of course if this song gets to be the commercial breakthrough Patton seems to aim for it to be, the kids will only pay attention to the "Now roll it up and smoke it again!" part, but that's sort of the beauty of it.

and yes i def think Patton was aware of the connatations of including the oopps i did it again at the end. Or was he i read he didn't listen to the radio much but if he did Peeping Tom is what he would want it to sound like.
This song is totally about the hallucinations you get after you're high! the voices in his head are 'haunting me, taunting me'? sounds like a junkie....with a seriously sexy song.
