Very obviously about the bird flu (H5N1) and mankinds inability to do anything about global pandemic.

I like the way H5N1 is portrayed as "A power enemy". Makes it seen as if it almost alive, with a mind and a motive to kill us all. Quite daunting really.

this is basically sayin that no matter how far we advance in technology, mother nature always has the trump card. We hadn't seen a major outbreak of a pandemic in yewars and we thought we were safe. We dropped our gaurds and payed the price. If we dont watch what we do, were doomed.
