I love it! I think possibly because it reminds me of how I write. Using words really well to convey different meanings. Jess is such a talented lyricist and I LOVE this song. Especially the acoustic version on the album

maybe she had a childhood friend that she absolutely loved, but she left him for her career, and then she regrets doing that and thinks that she should have stayed with him instead.

This song's about Jess's relationship with Michelle's brother. Jess left a guy to go out with Michelle's brother, but it ended up being a really crappy relationship.

this song means so much to me. its perfect. theres this boy and i've always just taken advantage of him cause i new he would always be there if i was lonely so i just kinda dated the fun guys while he was always there thinking they weren't good enough and i always got hurt by them but he never hurt me. i was selfish and just did what i wanted to. but now he's moved away and all the way across the country & i just want him back here with me, here in tennessee
