This Never Happened Before Lyrics
I'm very sure
This never happened to me before
I met you and now I'm sure
This never happened before
Now I see
This is the way it's supposed to be
I met you and now I see
This is the way it should be
This is the way it should be for lovers
They shouldn't go it alone
It's not so good when you're on your own
So come to me
Now we can be what we wanna be
I love you and now I see
This is the way it should be
This is the way it should be
This is the way it should be for lovers
They shouldn't go it alone
It's not so good when you're on your own
I'm very sure
This never happened to me before
I met you and now I'm sure
This never happened before...
This never happened to me before
I met you and now I'm sure
This never happened before
This is the way it's supposed to be
I met you and now I see
This is the way it should be
They shouldn't go it alone
It's not so good when you're on your own
Now we can be what we wanna be
I love you and now I see
This is the way it should be
They shouldn't go it alone
It's not so good when you're on your own
This never happened to me before
I met you and now I'm sure
This never happened before...

No posts yet? This is a great track, I discovered it in the film "The Lake House"!
heh, about its' appearance in The Lake House; the song plays while they're meeting each other in 2004, right? The song was released in 2005, though. o.o
I think the song is appropriate to the movie. When they dance, it had never happened before. In Sandra Bulloch's character's past, Keanu never knew who she was. But after they started exchanging letters, he knew where to "find" her. So when they danced, it was something which truly "never happened before."
This is one of my all-time favorite songs. I believe it is one of McCartney's best and he's written alot
I want to feel like that one day...
An instantly compelling and beautiful marriage of lyrics and tune. One of Paul's best. I expect it will probably be one of his most under-rated songs. It could easily have been meant for Heather but it has the always pop-chart wisdom of being generic enough to apply to anyone. Let's face it, we all love it when Paul gets around to writing stuff like this.
