Ordinary Lyrics
Forty five steps to the liquor store
Just another breakdown that I can't afford but
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight
Alright
Forty five minutes it will all be gone
I'll be strapped to the tap like nothing's wrong but
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight
Alright
These days, these nights are so ordinary
Smoke filled room conversation slow
Just leave me alone with the radio
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight
Alright
Possessions never make good friends
You can throw it all away
Freedom is the race to your new beginning
Possessions never made much sense
Confessions never made much sense to me
Just another breakdown that I can't afford but
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight
Alright
Forty five minutes it will all be gone
I'll be strapped to the tap like nothing's wrong but
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight
Alright
These days, these nights are so ordinary
Smoke filled room conversation slow
Just leave me alone with the radio
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight
Alright
Possessions never make good friends
You can throw it all away
Freedom is the race to your new beginning
Possessions never made much sense
Confessions never made much sense to me

this song is about one night of forgetting ur problems (i.e. drinking it away/gettin high). that one night becomes everynight.
i love lbc. i can't believe how little love they're getting!
anyways, this song is beautiful. great to sing-a-long to. aisha_08, hit the meaning very well i think.
fuck this is a great song. anyone know what the girl is saying in the beginning? well its just about the monotony of life. life sucks and is just plain "ordinary" not everyone gets to live like a rockstar. Alcoholism is the only way that the writer gets to feel like he's somebody.
"posessions never make good friends"-self explanatory, no matter how much shit you have, your still lonely. "Freedom is the race to your new beginning"- Freedom is a race to death, and re-encarnation(new beginning)
There's actually a part of this song missing.. After Smoke filled room conversation slow Just leave me alone with the radio Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight Alright
There is the part: End of the tunnel couldn't light my path Soles wearing down still running fast but Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight Alright
I don't know why it got left out ...
