there are several themes in this song. the first explains man's abuse of nature and animals. the second is man's abuse of language and theory. the third is man's abuse of drugs and how horrible it is. yes, even though Ogre was abusing drugs, he saw how bad it was.... what an incredilbe band. i wish they still wrote songs / albums like "Too Dark Park" nowadays... they are OK in 2007, but they've really lost that "magical" touch with the lyrics and music.
love this track
Totally Fucking Wierded Out
What's he saying between "Faded higher why you liar" and "Faded higher why you liar" at the end of the song? I can only hear for sure: "I don't remember", but I'm not sure what he's saying before that.
Anyway. I love this song. I love the live Pigface version. It's awesome and has a Punk-rock kind of feel.
And to stay on topic, I thought this song was about how someone feels and how they think on a bad drug trip or something. But jejh's interpretations were also really spot on. This why I love Skinny Puppy, their songs can have so much meaning to them.
Wonder where the "weirded out" part comes in. It all seems par for the course for Ogre.
