this one is about global warming and strongly opposes everything that causes it. It's that simple. Maybe.
No no no. I guess you have to read up on things like the New World Order, for example, watch the movie "Endgame". For me, the song is about how they trick and manipulate and how they are about to destroy life forms with their manic plans. World dominance and endless authority, you know. The ordinary mass is not able to realize how their environment(media, government etc.) is manipulated and so they are.
Nivek Ogre's biggest concern is Empire. Modern imperialism is not headed up by any one state in particular; it's global capitalism in charge of things now. The Capitalists, among other things, wreak havoc on the environment for the purpose of profit / power.

And we are the complicit victims. Our refusal to acknowledge what we know, to utilize the methods of learning more, and to put that knowledge into action, allows the Capitalists to continue unabated. We're deluded into a false sense of helplessness.

I like the global warming explanation... to me this seems to be about (as well as global warming) conspiracy theorists who make things so much more complicated than they really are -- the need some people have to put a specific culprit to a problem like global warming, in order to deny their own part in causing it.
