Littlest Things Lyrics
Sometimes I find myself sittin' back and reminscing,
Especially when I have to watch other people kissin'
And I remember when you started callin' me your missus,
All the play fightin', all the flirtatious disses.
I'd tell you sad stories about my childhood,
I dont why I trusted you, but I knew that I could.
We'd spend the whole weekend lying in our own dirt,
I was just so happy in your boxers and your t-shirt.
Dreams, dreams of when we had just started things,
Dreams of you and me.
It seems, it seems that I can't shake those memories,
I wonder if you have the same dreams too.
The littlest things that take me there,
I know it sounds lame, but it's so true.
I know its not right, but it seems unfair,
That things are reminding me of you.
Sometimes I wish we could just pretend,
Even if only for one weekend.
So come on, tell me
Is this the end?
Drinkin' tea in bed, watching DVD's,
When I discovered all your dirty grotty magazines.
You take me out shopping and all we'd buy is trainers,
As if we ever needed anything to entertain us.
The first time that you introduced me to your friends
And you could tell that I was nervous, so you held my hand.
When I was feeling down, you'd make that face you do,
There's no one in the world who could replace you.
Dreams, dreams of when we had just started things,
Dreams of you and me.
It seems, it seems that I can't shake those memories,
I wonder if you have the same dreams too.
The littlest things that take me there,
I know it sounds lame, but it's so true.

I think this song strikes a chord with everyone, we've all wanted to go back to a time when a relationship was happier. Thinking about it, like this song describes, makes you feel happy for the memories but very sad at the same time
I love this song, the first time I heard I wasn't sure if I liked it or not but by the second time I'd heard it I fell in love with it. The song is about a girl who finds herself thinking about an ex of hers and wishes that things could go back to the way they were and wonders if they feel the same. It's all about the things that remind her of them. It's very catchy, love how her accent comes through in the vocals at points and the simplicity of the piano, her voice and a mellow drum beat.
To me, this song was for me and my ex who moved to france, i think it suited us well because it wasnt that we had a bad relationship, we we're happy the whole time, but its just the memories that you miss and wanting to go back but having so many things between, her family is in france and mine in the U.S. and hopefully one day we'll be together again. I think the song is open to fit many situations depending, but most of all how life around us affects things not the people

Hmm, I don't think they're broken up from the line 'Is this the end?'. Maybe their relationship has gone down the pan and she's just looking back at the start of the relationship, when they were happy.
theres a mistake because it's titled "littlest things"
it kinda reminded me of radiohead in the beginn
yea, good song
the intro, with the guitar, just screams the rolling stones to me. sort of ruby tuesday ish... i love this song. the piano and lily's voice fit perefectly. her accent makes the beauty of her voice just that bit more real and realy lets me imagine myself, and her, living those lyrics i love lily allen. pure genius.
i think this song is about a couple that married to young and maybe the littlest thing is a baby
-I was just so happy in your boxers and your t-shirt
maybe they thought married life would be fun; now there seeing shes reality of it
that could be totally wrong

the intro reminds me a bit of 'wild world' by cat stevens.
that's exactly what I thought too!
