This is my favorite Lovely Feathers song. It's so fun and playful like the rest of their music, but there's an added charm.
I take this song as someone getting married. Lauren is a wedding planner, and on her day off had the groom/bride mail the invitations, but they "fumbled." The sight of the "used store bow ties" really brings it home the finality of marriage and how soon the wedding is.
that's cool, i had a hard time figuring out what this song meant... and just for the record, your correction on the word "invitation" as "invatation"... well, is incorrect... it's "invitation" are these bitches still active? they're local and i haven't heard a buzz from them since forever, no shows, no updates, just myspace logins
