A Little Too Late Lyrics
(chorus)
It’s a little too late
I’m a little too gone,
A little too tired of this hangin’ on
So I’m letting go while I’m still strong enough to
It’s got a little too sad
I’m a little too blue
It’s a little too bad
You were too good to be true
I’m big time over you baby
It’s a little too late
No I don’t want to want to talk about what we can do about us anymore
Only time you and me wastin’ is the time it takes to walk right out that door
Yeah talk about water under the bridge,
You should know by now girl that’s all this is
(chorus)
It’s a little too late,
I’m a little too gone,
A little too tired of just hangin’ on
I’m letting go while I’m still strong enough to
It’s got a little too sad,
I’m a little too blue
It’s a little too bad
You were too good to be true
I’m big time over you baby
It’s a little too late
There was a time,
this heart of mine,
would take you back every time
don’t you know
It’s been two packs of cigaretts
a sleepless night
a nervous wreck, a day ago.
Now you ain’t got no business coming around
I’m closing up shop
Shuttin’ us down
(chorus)

Great song love it.
I think this is a great breakup song, especially after you've gone through the stage where all you do is want them back. You've finally realized that you're better off without them and you're only stronger now.
THE MUSIC VIDEO IS AWESOME and TOBY IS HOT IN THE NEW FAVORITE BLACK TEE...HE SURE LIKES IT. TOBY IS AWESOME
The music video is disgusting and sexist.
You know, I've always thought of myself as pretty sensitive to women's issues, and I think it's kinda funny.

When it starts off you kind of think you know how it's going to end. Irate spouse/boyfriend disgusted with girlfriend to the point where he's just going to wall her up alive into the basement as she helplessly watches. Smiling gleefully as he does it. End of story.

It's only at the end that you (and he) realize that the wall he's built between the two of them has trapped him, not her, inside and alone. Actually, it's at that point that she realizes she's free to leave and she does so. Hilarious.
I think it's a great analogy and a great video. I think it's a great song too.
