Everything inside of me
Is burning up for you to see
And if we should get into it
A two-way kind of syndicate
Hold me

Compare us to a Ferris wheel
Just be sure what you want to steal
Some people do it by the book
But I prefer to go by feel
Tell me

I wanted to get out of here
But every time I reappear
Now I have the words my dear
To whisper out into your ear
Hey, yeah

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

The spirit of a dragon's tear
Is lovely at this time of year
The cave within your mountainside
Is deeper than it will be wide
Hold me

My disenchanted diplomat
Asleep inside the laundromat
Conveyor belts are moving
And I want you to be sure of that
Tell me

And if you let it germinate
I know it will be worth the wait
Disputed by the news that it was
You who tried to instigate
Hey, yeah

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

Blessed are the hypocrites
Outwitted but she never quits
The trouble with the band of slits
Is washing off the muddy bits
Hey, yeah

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

C'mon girl (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)
Let's get it right (let's go)

Oh yeah she's with me and I'm your man
If I can't find you no one can

    My Interpretation

Taking a shot in the dark off of a few comments here but possibly about Anthony wanting to have a kid? When he explains there is no direct meaning in interviews, this could have been done to evade the evade the amass of propaganda that would follow. anyway lets dive into it.

Everything inside of me is burning up for you to see.

-Anthony's feelings coming out and admitting what hes been keeping locked away in his mind.

And if we should get into it, a two way kind of syndicate. Hold me.

-Anthony and his girl should go into it together as a team and share the same throughts/views on the subject before advancing.

Compare us to a Ferris wheel. Just be sure what you want to steal. Some people do it by the book, but I prefer to go by feel. Tell me.

-A Ferris wheel constantly spins and the carts generally are for couples, perhaps a stretch but Anthony stating he is in for the long run and not an impulsive decision, following up with asking her to do the same and to make sure what shes stealing is what she wants and not just what Anthony wants. "Doing it by the book" is what most people do when preparing for a child (going to parenting classes, stocking up on baby formula.diapers etc.) But Anthony is saying he wants to go through it with her and develop it all uniquely.

I wanted to get outta here, but every time I reappear. Now I have the words my dear to whisper right into your ear. Hey, yeah.

-He wants to move on from life and leave the young party life. He wants to develop a family and move into the next stage of life. Hes again gaining the courage to tell her of his ambitions and goals.

C'mon girl, let's get it right, let's get it right, let's get it right. (x4)

-Leaving the young party lifestyle and starting a family?

The spirit of a dragon's tear is lovely at this time of year.

-Really stumped on this one. Perhaps the right time to start trying for a kid?

The cave within your mountainside is deeper than it will be wide. Hold me.

-Anthony's past lyrics have proved to lean toward provocative meanings leading me to believe hes referring to a vagina here but perhaps developing the quality of life (Deeper) ass opposed to being everyone favourite but getting nowhere (Wider)?

My disenchanted diplomat, asleep inside the laundromat. Conveyer belts are moving and I want you to be sure of that. Tell me.

-Telling her he is emotionally ready (disenchanted diplomat) and financially ready (Conveyor belts are moving, work is good).

And if you let it germinate, I know it will be worth the wait. Disputed by the news that it was you who tried to instigate. Hey, yeah.

-Even through the 8 months of child bearing and the constant attention on the woman can be a hassle, it will all be worth it in the end.

C'mon girl, let's get it right, let's get it right, let's get it right. (x4)

Blessed are the hypocrites. Outwitted but she never quits. The trouble with a band of slits is washing off all the muddy bits. Hey, yeah.

-Those who critique pregnant people for not being "Safe" or saying that the "Single life" is the best when they have kids of their own. "a band of slits" being them during the constant talk and bantering that follows their family(cameras/propaganda) and just brushing off the "muddy bits" and moving past it.

C'mon girl, let's get it right, let's get it right, let's get it right. (x4)

Oh yeah, she's with me and I'm your man. If I can't find you no one can.

-saying hes the only one for her andhe wants to father her child.

Anyway just my two cents but let me know what you think, if it was a hit or miss. Its the only meaning i can seem to find at the moment. Cheers!

AK said this song doesn't really have a direct meaning, he wrote it to go with the music.

I think he wants to let go to some girl, yet he calls her a ho. They keep going around the same way but he doesn't know waht she wants. he knows what to tell her, which i think is just that he wants to fuck her but on some emotional level. She's oblivious though. he'd wait for her but she's a hypocrit, trying to wipe away her past and the bad things she's done... he calls her a ho a lot, so i think he has a girlfrind as well as this person.

It's "hold me" and not "ho". As for the meaning, Anthony said it didn't have one, and that he just wrote the lyrics to go with the music.

aisha it is so sad that you ruin the entire point of the web site

anyway, this is such a whacky, yet meaningful song

I think it's basically talking about love, and that he is madly in love with this girl, but he doesn't want to go into it too fast

anthony has messed up with so many girls, he just wants to get it right with his current girlfriend
