the song is actually about Flea wnting to spend more time with his girlfriend or wife and the band are saying "we are the ones that will make you feel better"
its a love song, talking to a girl. it is very sexual, and when he says "Now i´ll take it its better for you" it might be talking about taking her virginity. i am not sure, if anyone knows differntly please tell me. its a catchy song never the less

i think it's the chili peppers saying to their fans that no matter what happens fans will always have their music and their music will always have the ability to pull you through hard times
I read in an article that came out a few days after SA was released that this song was motivated by all the fans AK has encountered overtime who tell him how they can relate to his lyrics and how they listen to the RHCP when they're sad, happy, whatever, you get the point.

Sorry to say, but I think you guys are all wrong.
I'm not positive but I heard this song was about the Bassist and his girlfriend/wife (im not sure) and that the band completely supported his choice to be with her more often and that they are behind him 100%. But at the same time, he reminds him that only the band are the ones that will make him feel better.
Regardless of the meanings and connotations, I'm glad we can agree that this is one of the best songs on the entire album.
