I can't believe no-one has commented on this song it's my favourite on the album. I'm not sure but i think this is a continuation from "left hand charity"

It is a toughie and I think you're right about the break up, spesh when you consider 'you taste like indicating a coldness between them and 'how long will you last, forever... ' which shows the finality.
I think the line 'you never looked so beautiful' is about wnating what you can't have? Maybe it's me being a bit pervy but I thought 'It took me 14 hours to get this sore and knowing that you've never looked so beautiful' had some sexual connotation and reflected how even though she never looked so good, deep down he doesn't want her. So yeah, that's what I think...lol

Everytime I hear the start of the song I imagine the scene of a car crash. One person walking away from the wreckage.
yea i think your right about the break up thing like the first is saying that after they broke up they went there own ways and later he regrets doing what he did. he calls her and tries to meet with her and make things right. i think thats wring but i tried

I think the bit about a crash possibly a car crash is a metphore for a relationship ending
I think this song is about a breakup too, with that bitterness felt which you can just see in the lyrics. I also believe the car crash is a metaphor for the end of the relationship and maybe in the part "the air cuts like glass and u taste like winter. and how long will you last ,forever" could refer to a guilty hookup and Brock questioning where they are at, finally coming to the conclusion that she's..a maneater. Well, to me she sounds like a devil woman lol, feel free to agree i'm probably wrong
