The Weak Willed Lyrics
I will not give in to faciest beliefs and I am not a fool
I will not let pride in my core be rooted out
I will stand firm on my beliefs
Live life the master of my destiny
See no other way to live
I am not the weak willed
Nor am I a fool who can not see
I am not the weak willed
I will not let pride destroy me
Wise men can see the difference in compromise
And laying down ones beliefs
There shall be wisdom in my beliefs
They shall be rooted in strenght not failure
With lies on your tong seek to decieve
You've fallen victim to the human condition
And it's lead to your defeat
I am not the weak willed
Nor am I a fool who can not see
I am not the weak willed
I will not let pride destroy me
I will not let pride destroy me
I will not let pride in my core be rooted out
I will stand firm on my beliefs
Live life the master of my destiny
See no other way to live
Nor am I a fool who can not see
I am not the weak willed
I will not let pride destroy me
And laying down ones beliefs
They shall be rooted in strenght not failure
You've fallen victim to the human condition
And it's lead to your defeat
Nor am I a fool who can not see
I am not the weak willed
I will not let pride destroy me

i love the vocals in this one! his growls in this are amazing. it's just a testament to how far he's come from the band's beginnings. his voice is incredibly dynamic.
Death metal may be my least favorite sub-genre of heavy metal (it does have numerous awesome songs though) but, DAMN!!! When All That Remains does it, they do it masterfully. One of their all-time best songs.

i generally dont like death metal but when its not overused in the song and several i killed the prom queens songs (their new album) it sound f**king awsome
This is typically the least liked track on the whole album. It's sucha transition from the melodic singing they established many tracks before..But this one sounds more like their old style.
But, it sounds like demongods or something too much.
I love this song. I'm not a fan of death metal, but Phil changes his vocal style dramatically in this song which is really cool. I also love the way it slows down toward the end.
And they put on a great show when I saw them with KSE. I had to buy the CD the day after the show.
this is an amazing song. its about standing firm upon your beliefs without pride, without fail. God, i love this band. i just wish the lyrics to all the songs were on here...
i agree with the rest of them... the only death metal/growly song ive ever liked...
Probably the one song keeping me from buying the album. Though I'm a huge fan of chaotic Hardcore and the like, I can't stand the growl of Death Metal, nor do I particularly enjoy guitar solo's. Just the same, the lyrics of this song were discernible mostly simply by listening, and they stood out. Very powerful lyrics. My interpretation; Refusing to be either weak willed and give up, or play the fool, when beliefs become difficult to shape or keep. He will not give in to Fascist beliefs. I do not know which beliefs those may be for the writer, but the song leaves it open. I Find this song to stand as a firm and solid statement of faith. It doesn't scream 'Christian', but it wears the signature of uncompromising Truth.
I really like this song, plus it made me kinda discover that I have the potential to shape a death metal growl myself.
