i think it is about a girl in an abusive relationship and she just like..can't handle it anymore and so she kills the guy and then just wants to be safe and a good person again..i dunno
lots of credit to drake though for writing such a deep song...there are so many young people writing meaningless songs this guy is deep!
I think that the song is about a girl that gets drunk at a party and is raped by her boyfriend, who she eventually reports to the police, and how she feels dirty or unholy because of the rape.

The reason I think that it might mean that she reported him to the police is because he feels guilty about what he did to her, and he tried to apologize / yelled at her as he was being arrested.

I actually think that this song may be about more than just a boyfriend. Possibly a husband or even a father. Regardless, I would say it's definitely a song about an abusive relationship that ends with the abuser's death, and in the wake, she has to find herself again. Wade through the pain and the damage she suffered, to find some worth in herself.
This song sounds to me like it's about a really controlling guy whose girlfriend can't take it anymore and kills him but that's just the way I see it..

It seems like there is a girl who was forced into a relationship or marriage. Either that, or the boyfriend is too demanding and too controlling, and all she wants is freedom from it all.
