Rated X Lyrics
Well, If you've been a married woman
And things didn't seem to work out
Divorce is the key to being loose and free
But you are gonna be talked about
The women all look at you like you're bad
The men all hope you are
But if you go too far
You are gonna wear the scar of a woman
Be rated X
And if you're rated X
You are some kind of goal
That even men turned civil try to make
But I think it's wrong
To judge every picture
If a cheap camera makes a mistake
So if your best friend's husband
Says to you
That you started looking good
You should've known he would
And he would if he could
And he will if you're rated X
Well nobody knows where you are going
But they sure know where you've been
All they're thinking of
Is your experience in love
Well their minds fill up with sin
The women all look at you like you're bad
The men all hope you are
But if you go too far
You're gonna wear the scar
Of a women, rated x
And if you're rated X
You are some kind of goal
That even men turned civil try to make
But I think it's wrong
To judge every picture
If a cheap camera makes a mistake
So if your best friend's husband
Says to you
That you started looking good
You should've known he would
And he would if he could
And he will if you're rated X

google "the white stripes". Then go to the site called "the white stripes" (it's a fan site, not the official one). go to downloads and you can quickly download a great, live version of this song. It's easier than trying to find the single! Go to it now!
and it's better than the single also, it was performed at the forum in london at 2001
this song is awesome i thought this was a dark tune wen i just read the lyrics, but it isnt
The lyrics are really great actually, and very sad. Like if a woman looks like she's been around, the ladies hate her and the men want her but have no respect for her. It's about how harsh women are judges, so if you make a mistake you can be bound to it and suffer consequences forever really.
But I think it's wrong To judge every picture If a cheap camera makes a mistake
That's incredible.
I meant it's about how harsh society judges women.
