I'm sorry I can't afford you
It's so messed up anyway
I'm sorry I can't reward you
It's so messed up either way

But in another time and in another place
I wish I could tell you to your face
You went in circles- what a waste
Cuz I'm the one you need

I saw the future
I made it up
We were tea leaves in a tea cup
Paper hearts
We tore the tissue
Ripped apart and now I miss you

But in another time and in another place
I wish I could tell you to your face
You went in circles- what a waste
Cuz I'm the one you need

I cannot wait until this is released! If anyone has an MP3 of the demo, please be cool & send it to me! I think this song is about heartbreak & disappointment. Not too hard to decipher ;)

jackospade, here's how i think the studio version goes (listening by ear, so this could be very off):

I'm sorry, i can't afford you you're so messed up anyway it's kinda sad, i cant reward you you're so messed up, anyway.

But in another time and in another place I'm going to tell you to your face you ran in circles what a stupid waste cause i'm the one you need.

i saw the future i made it up you were too young to be awestruck paper hearts torn like tissue ripped apart and now i miss you.

But in another time and in another place i'm going to tell you to your face you ran in circles what a stupid waste cause i'm the one you need.

but you say, say you're in to stay need to feel this way i know its so cliche but i (?) and now you're thinking oh god what a waste

But in another time and in another place i'm going to tell you to your face you ran in circles what a stupid waste cause i'm the on you need cause i'm the on you need cause i'm the on you need cause i'm the on you need oh, oh yeah cause i'm the on you need

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
