Fire Lyrics
The flower grew the wall
Displaying of his colour
The motive wasn't clear
But you wouldn't understand
Now we're getting on like fire
With matchsticks in our eyes
And the money men are here
With yes men to their sides
The audience approves
With a movement of clothing
But they never even see
The nature of this illusion
Now we're getting on like fire
Lets burn it to the ground
And the warning it came so clear
But I couldn't see the signs
There's a plate in my head
There's a chip in my head
Displaying of his colour
The motive wasn't clear
But you wouldn't understand
With matchsticks in our eyes
And the money men are here
With yes men to their sides
With a movement of clothing
But they never even see
The nature of this illusion
Lets burn it to the ground
And the warning it came so clear
But I couldn't see the signs
There's a chip in my head

I'm really disappointed that nobody seems to know who this band is, there's no info about them online, nobody I talk to knows them, and it's a shame, they are amazing and so is this song.
Like a few others on the album, this one doesn't seem to have any particular meaning, but it is fantastic.
I agree that this band is awesome ! Check it out !

I think this song talks about destruction of nature by money mens. The audience is blind, and approve the destruction, then there's a warning, but they doesn't understand it on time.
I would agree with QuebecGuy. One of the things that I love about PIP is that their lyrics are full of riddles.. It is easy to assume that half of their songs have no meaning, but the fact that I can't figure it out doesn't make it nonsense.
