i think this song is about two childhood sweethearts. they were very close, until one moved away to bigger and better things.
while the other is left, drowning in their memories and waiting for the day their lover will return.
Great song. Anyone har clue what it is about?
I like the complementary nature of the soft ethereal feel of the music, and the melancholy of the lyrics... heartbreaking. The first two lines about falling in and out of love are well done; "..and you leave like you don't". ouch.
I think it's about falling in love, then falling out. And going alone again.
