Reena Lyrics
You keep me coming home again
You keep me coming home again
When you were gone, I met a friend
She taught me how to live in the end
You keep me coming home again
You keep me coming home again
Are her eyes brown or blue?
How does she keep her steady cool
My heart and soul are wrapped up in her eyes
A little blink, yeah, I recognize
A little blink, yeah, that's my prize
A wild horse sitting right there by your side
Hard to ignore, hard to disguise
Will she ever realize?
You keep me coming home again
You keep me coming home again
When you were gone I was out of my mind
I had a friend who laughed all the time
I had a friend who cried all the time
I had a friend who screamed all the time
I had a friend who lied all the time
You keep me coming home again
She taught me how to live in the end
You keep me coming home again
How does she keep her steady cool
My heart and soul are wrapped up in her eyes
A little blink, yeah, I recognize
A little blink, yeah, that's my prize
A wild horse sitting right there by your side
Hard to ignore, hard to disguise
Will she ever realize?
You keep me coming home again
I had a friend who laughed all the time
I had a friend who cried all the time
I had a friend who screamed all the time
I had a friend who lied all the time

Supposed to be about fictional artist Reena Spaulings I believe. Kim did a "portrait" of Paris Hilton on inkjet paper for her. You can see it if you go to the Reena Spaulings website.
That's cool. Couldn't find it though!?

I'm not exactly sure about the meaning, but it's a great song nonetheless.
I read somewhere that it's about Kim's "friendship" with another woman, and that the line "You keep me coming home again" probably refers to Thurston.
I love Kim's voice in this song.
This has to be one of the better Kim Gordon numbers in recent memory. Kick ass guitar intro, provocative lyrics and her trademark snarl. This is the shit!
This song is great. Normally I'm not big on Kim's vocals, but she sounds really perfect in this song.

um.... why does this song not have more comments??? fucking amazing, love Kim Gordon and SY!
I definitely see this as being about a secondary relationship with a woman. The "she" is the lover being seen secretive, whilst the "you" was the boyfriend/girlfriend.
I think Thurston left Kim for a brief time...maybe they had a fight. And Kim met this girl, and SHE kept Kim coming home to be with Thurston again. Kim's friend is also a bit crazy... but it seems that Kim likes this girl... she's saying that she is a wild horse sitting close to her... and she don't realize..
I listened to Kim talk about this song on a radio show the band hosted, and she said it's about a book she wrote with some other musicians. Reena is the main character.
also it should not say "wild horse". the lyrics say "white horse".
