I absolutely LOVE this song! To me this song is about...just what Jude Harrison is going through. An ordinary every teen, trying to make it in the big music biz, and trying to stay true to yourself. I especially love the verse: There's a part of me that's fighting back There's a part of me that knows When I'm pouring out my heart I'm still putting on a show Its like even when she's pouring her heart out to her fans through her music, people still think she's just "putting on a show".
This song is amazing when she sings with Mason/Nicholas.

First I would love to say this is one of my favourite songs by her. Next to skin. I believe that this song is about her changing when she doesn't want to. She is becoming someone she's not and everyone knows it but her.
Another inference I made of this song is that She is attempting to join a world she doesn't belong in. Where people Know that its not the real her. Even she knows it but She's afraid to admit it.
