put that gun to my temple
put that gun on my heart
throw my head out the window
& see semen see semen my feet in the dark
A-I-D
H-I-V
i
cannot wait to die
can't you tell
can't you tell
can't you tell
never finish my degree, cha-chi
never play with the pogues
always walk off the plank chi-cha
all always, always into the dark
A-I-D
H-I-V
i cannot wait to die
can't you tell
can't you tell
can't you tell
put that gun on my heart
throw my head out the window
& see semen see semen my feet in the dark
H-I-V
i
cannot wait to die
can't you tell
can't you tell
can't you tell
never play with the pogues
always walk off the plank chi-cha
all always, always into the dark
H-I-V
can't you tell
can't you tell
can't you tell

i like the xiu xiu version more. eh.
a friend of jamie's was diagnosed with HIV at a young age, this song is written from his perspective of how there are so many things other people his age will be able to do and all he has to look forward to is his death.
This is a really nice and meaningful song, in my opinion the best one done as IBOPA, I also like the Xiu Xiu version alot aswell
