this is a great song, &a pretty spiffy band. all the things i should not say = all the words I should not say [also] and your suffering = and you're suffering yeh. just thought i'd help you out, off the top of my head. not many people who listen to this band, apparantly.

I'm not too good at analyzing songs, but I think this is about how it is hard to move on and when you miss someone [hence; i miss the way you always smile and your eyes so deep full of memories"]

Even though this band has broken up.. It will always still be one of my top faves!!!

Chapter V

VI These nights are long and cold, take me by the hand; let's go walking through the snow. (She is has been thrown back and forth she is exhausted, she says let’s just be what we can be. These nights are long and lonely, let’s just be together when we can.) The makeup's running down your face, and it's safe to say that you've lost your glare. All the things I should not say, when the lights go dim and I lead you on. (He sees she is beyond herself, the moment when you have cried so much you cannot force another tear. She has lost all hope all questions all her torment. She is too tired to fight for anything. He is now feeling sorry for all the nights he spent telling her he loved her and not giving her anything of sustenance.) These nights are long and cold, take me by the hand; let's go walking through the snow.

a star (She feels no comfort in his eyes anymore, she feels nothing. They are both in completely different paths, all they have is hope that the roads will once again merge together again.)

it's hard to say we're moving on making out on my roof all night long (When they are away from each other they say they are moving on- how can they move on when there is so much past?) why do I fall for everything (She cries to herself why do I fall for all his lines of “I really do love you, I’m just not ready” just ask as I go and your suffering and the seasons change and you lost a friend and I hope you know that the story goes there I go on and there I go on and on

(So much time has come and gone, and she is still suffering. She has lost her truest friend- she has lost herself. So is giving up trying to make happiness with him. She is just letting time lead her on and on. Who knows what is in store for them..only time. —all she can do is just take one day at a time.)

-This is a true story. All I can do is wait. I wholeheartedly think this band ended because this CD, this story.. was all they were meant to make. There is no way they could write the ending to this story in another CD, only time can.
