It was written during his wife's pregnancy and is about his relationship with her and how he thinks she's incredibly brave for being able to carry this extra weight with her just being herself and how he won't let her down or let anything happen to her. It's basically just about his love for her and how proud he is of her courage and how much he appreciates her support.

this song is incredible. It is a song that just shows an immense amount of love and support for the one he loves. It always makes me feel better
I believe Gavin said this song was about his interest in giving up music in general and his wife not letting him because she believed in him and he wrote this song to thank her for being his inspiration and always believing in him even though he didn't believe in himself.
