i love this song, it really does sound like typical male behavior. a girl really likes a boy, and he doesnt feel as strongly about her. i love that they put a fun spin on a kind of sad subject.

the singer does care for his partner, he just can't love her. shown in the 2nd to last stanza. alike many blokes he seems to be concerned about him and his friends, "I think that Joel threw up Things were so much better when we were young ", having fun is more important to him than having love. i love this song, haven't been able to stop listening to it, but i do have a question. is the girl he met on the plane to Canada the girl he never meant to hurt, or is she the girl he cheated with, that hurt the other girl?
