Fragments of Faith Lyrics
It’s not the way to cross the faith
The promise has been broken
My disease, everlasting
Let me bleed forever
I have to wait
Come and get me
Lost in here, I’m nothing
Tie my hands
Let me feel alive one more time
Where is the pain?
Somewhere down
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
My halo fades
Sin is calling
The promise has been stolen
My disease, everlasting
Let me dream forever
My soul to take
Come and get it
Lost in here, I’m nothing
Tie my hands
Let me feel alive one more time
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
Never let it go…
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
The promise has been broken
My disease, everlasting
Let me bleed forever
I have to wait
Come and get me
Lost in here, I’m nothing
Tie my hands
Let me feel alive one more time
Somewhere down
Don’t you know there is no time?
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?
Sin is calling
The promise has been stolen
My disease, everlasting
Let me dream forever
My soul to take
Come and get it
Lost in here, I’m nothing
Tie my hands
Let me feel alive one more time
Don’t you know there is no time?
Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?

Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?

Can you feel it?
Don’t you know there is no time?

My favourite song on Karmacode.
A song about life slipping away from you and you want to feel it but you are too lost
ahh... I have so many opinions about this song, but all thoughts kinda die when I hear it. Cuz it's so good, really, you can only focus on it and nothing else. So yeah. If you haven't heard it then please do - it's one of Lacuna's heavier sounding songs with Andy doing more work than Cristina for once.
To me it's more as if it's about being always stuck in the same place, not being able to move on. And while you're stuck there, all these things come and taint you little by little, till you're left with nothing in the end.
or maybe it's about moving too fast and not feeling anything, so you might as well be stuck in one place. There's a definite plea for restriction - 'Tie my hands/Let me feel alive one more time'
That's just me... objections? go for it. This song needs more posts.
This song illustrates someone being in a coma or with cancer and about to die.
I like stealtheharmony's interperetation. However, Thius sone means something different to me. See what you think:
I'm thinking the song is about losing faith in something, maybe a higher being, another person or the self. In the first verse he says that the promise has been broken, that his disease wont go away, he's lost, he's nothing. He wants something to believe in ("tie my hands"), he wants his faith back so he can feel alive again ("let me feel alive one more time").
In the second verse he talks about losing innocence, ("halo fades, sin is calling") and its like he had faith in something and now that it has gone he feels like something has been stolen, that he is no lonmger innocent. He also makes reference to his soul to take, suggesting again that he wants something else to have faith in, to believe in. It is almost like a part of his was stolen and he wants another soul to be alive again.
The courus appears to be saying that he feels theres no time left, he's lost forever, that the pain is deep down. However, there is hope "never let it go"
Any comments???
I think it's more about how this person cannot "add up" to his faith. the broken promise referring to something he himself broke, not his faith, and now he has to deal with the consequences, "my disease everlasting, let me bleed forever." He feels that if someone (his faith, a deity) doesn't rescue him soon, "Come and get me, lost in here I'm nothing" , "My soul to take, come get it", that he will be forever lost. This is just what I get from the song.
