well so yah i belive the song, is bout what the title is really.. its about lust or thats what i got out of it

he is so attracted to a grl, but no hes in the wrong because of his sin "lust" "pray for my sin, instead of time" which means he needs to pray for forgiveness for his sin instead of praying to be with the girl over lustful reasons but he knows its hard because saying your so "captivating standing in front of me" means its tempting and it consumes his mind instead of realizing the sin so basically she is a tease.. teases him into lust and him saying the massacre, the massicist describing how the girl is over powering him and cutting his pride, so he easily falls for her, for being a tease

and beggign verses he just describes his taughts hope there comes a time that i copuld see your dirty mind

I have no idea what this song is about, but I really dont care. It's a wicked song to listen to while flying down the highway.

I'm not sure if this song has anything to do with the "story" I've been imagining, but if it does, I imagine it does like this...

The singer, fresh from his "relationship" from the girl, is starting to move on. I want to imagine he's move to a new area (no real reason, I just do).

He gets a job filming low-budget horror movies ("Something to corsets and horror", "these low-budget movies change our low-budget lives", "these bloody faces with their bloody knives") and is "captivated" with the lead actress.

The chorus is him not wanting to get into a new relationship so fresh out of the old one that wrecked him so ("Pray for mercy instead of time") and the other part, "you are the massocre, the masochist, the tease" I think refers to her role in the film. Her character dies in the film (the massocre), which she enjoys (the masochist) and the tease references that the singer wants her but doesn't want a relationship with her... maybe she's flirting with him a little, teasing him, but he knows he just can't. ("I'm still wondering everyone we've loved has broke away")

But it sounds a little hopeful, like maybe he does move on and find love again.

I'd just like to mention I'm totally making this up as I go along, my imagination knows no bounds. ^^

indeed they are a great band. I feel he is talking about god being the massacist. His massacre of a love life that he blames on god. Also this whole god concept is the tease. He is mocking god for not coming and showing himself, proving that he does exist. All anybody gets is the tease of him being real.

I agree its about lust: Hes very tempted by her. Especially because she is a tease. Shes so captivating it makes it even more difficult to object her. He wants to see her dirty side and her dirty thoughts. He falls into temptation and sins, so he prays for forgiveness.
