i actually love this song. its nothing extraordinary, but its what i wanted to hear when i clicked play for this song.
i can relate to the lyrics alot when i hear them. its weird, when gutterflower came out, basically an album about his ex wife and his relationship, i had just broken up with mine. And with this song, hes exactly where I am now.

it IS a beautiful song. i think its about how love changes everything...the way you see the world, the way you see yourself...and the feeling that you finally have a reason. yet we're always scared and try to hold back cause we're afraid..."my head lies to my heart, and my heart it still believes" but at the end of it all, you cant deny that life without that person would be completely different.. :)
Wow. I wonder if John reads my journal. If this song applies to him the same way it applies to me, then it's about having someone, losing them, wanting them, but can't have them the same way as before. It's about the worth of real love, and wanting it back to the way it was when two people genuinely loved eachother.
I think that this song is about how you can love someone, and then start to doubt it and maybe end up doing something that hurts the other person, and its not until after, and they're standing right there beside you that you realise how much you need and want that person and that nothing else can fill that gap. hmm
