Call to Dial a Song Lyrics
Well, I might be a lot of things, but I won't be ignored
When I see you coming, the chariots of the Lord
Well, the pale horses are riding, and the judgment day's at hand
And I'm waiting for the good Lord to take me by the hand
Hey Isaac, this is Spencer
Um . . . I'm calling about, uh, going to Montana
Um . . . so you need to give me a ring here
So we can work out some of those details and stuff
Because it could get kind of hairy or whatever
So, uh, give me a call
All right then, bye-bye
When I see you coming, the chariots of the Lord
Well, the pale horses are riding, and the judgment day's at hand
And I'm waiting for the good Lord to take me by the hand
Um . . . so you need to give me a ring here
So we can work out some of those details and stuff
Because it could get kind of hairy or whatever
So, uh, give me a call
All right then, bye-bye

This song (featured on Sad Sappy Sucker) is a message left on Isaac Brock's answering machine by Spencer Moody in 1994.
how can a fishing trip ever get hairy? what a drama queen.
how do you know its about a fishing trip? I think its hallarious that they put this on the cd.
I think it's ironic how this friend of Isaac's is overly religious (leaving messages about Judgement Day on an answering machine) and Isaac himself is an atheist. Maybe this guy was just tryin to be funny.
did he really sound serious to you?
did he really sound serious to you?
blue penguin pretty sure its a joke, because isaac feels pretty strong about what he feels and thinks but respects others too. anyone that gets sucked into religion is pretentious in my book.
I think going to montana is a refrence to using meth... As in "Goin up goin over to Montana.." from the song Trucker's Atlas which is definatly about using speed.
lol this spencer guy is obviously making a joke and isaac obviously found it hilarious and put it on the record i would find this kinda shit funny too if it were on my answering machine
this is DEFINATELY not about montana. it could be about drugs but not montana. spencer moody is the lead singer of the great band called the Murder City Devils. DUHHHHH
oh shit... When it comes to the idea of religion, I don't like it personally. Anybody who feels certain there is (or isn't) a god is equally dogmatic. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, though. And yeah, I agree it's probably about ice. It's funny how "religious" ice makes some people. I know quite a few meth heads that can quote scripture frontwards and back and tell you all about their religious theories while sticking a needle in their arm. It's funny as hell really to see...
does anyone know where that little bit of gospel comes from?
