The Darkest Tomb Lyrics

It's getting hard to breathe in here
What I would give to be set free
This darkness surrounds me
They're coming for us
Take careful aim
I know you won't miss
Avoid eye contact
Shoot the messenger
Pools of blood surround
Don't run and hide this time
But we've made a mistake
A glaring error
We're adrift
Nearly gone
And if you knew you'd get away with it all, what would you do?
In my darkened tomb, I am laid to waste

This song is the favourite song of mine by the Architect's. The time signature changes and the fretting is fucking amazing.

Don't get them confused. It's not THE Architects. It's just Architects. The Architects are some weird ass pop band.

i think this is about being trapped in a relationship you'd rather not be in.

It's getting hard to breathe in here What I would give to be set free? sounds like hes asking for help, someone to help him out of it

but he feels too attached to let go and its getting so awkward

In my darkened tomb, I am laid to waste
i rhink that line is him accepting the fact he is stuck in the relationship and there is nothing he can do about it

im not 100% sure tho love architects :)
