Let Your Good Heart Lead You Home Lyrics
You let the dark in
Somehow
I feel the winter more now
More now
Some things do matter
A price to pay
We will find our own way
Always
Sharks swim around your
Drowning soul
Let your good heart
Lead you home
Once you've gone
You can't come back
I am worried about you
Once you've gone, girl
You can't come back
I am worried about you
Somehow
I feel the winter more now
More now
A price to pay
We will find our own way
Always
Drowning soul
Let your good heart
Lead you home
You can't come back
I am worried about you
You can't come back
I am worried about you

A really lovely song this one, obviously about someone near going through a hard time and worrying about them. Surprised I'm the first to comment on it!
About a loved one passing away in my opinion.
A song about your fix/drug dependent girlfriend.
So few words with so much emotion. The underlying emotion- depression. The first verse is pure genius: "You let the dark in, somehow" - things/life getting you down. "Sharks swim around your, drowning soul" - as garygwapo says, a possible drug reference, but also possibly the exponential effect of depression. When you're down, little things seem much worse. The final verses: "Once you've gone, you can't come back" - suicide is irreversible.
It's clearly about hard times "Sharks swim around your, drowning soul" for me is not just drugs, it0s says sharkS (plural) it means that there are more than one shark (problem)
"A price to pay" there's always a consecuence for our actions
"Once you've gone, you can't come back" clearly about suicide
