haha well, this is a little odd, but i think he is talking about wanting to have sex with a girl.

sounds to me like they are at a club, and he's been watching a girl, and well like hii mariah said, wants to have sex with her.

anyone know wat he's saying after "sorry about the dark"? is it just mumbling?

I recently fell in love with this song. Reminds me of my prom... and my prom is exactly what you guys are saying the song is about, spying on people and wanting to sleep with them. I hate my school. Anyway yeah just my take... i think he's just saying "bum bum bum ba-dum" after the sorry about the dark part, IceCuban06. Not positive though...

this song makes me think of a night out, where everybody's "got their hair just right and their lips just right". all everyone really wants is a little fling and fun "come with me, i'm easy". it could be a whore saying "we'll see who gots the secrets, no one has to see, believe me, i'm sorry about the dark" but i think we all say and think those things, it's not a whore's words, it's everybody's words.

Every time I listen to this song, I wish they'd put it on Apologies, but I think that "We Built Another World" was built around this song, and I like that one better anyway. Wolf Parade... there are no words. They're too wonderful.

On the fan site, I read some of the lyrics that sounded perfect. There are only a few errors on here... but I'm not positive if this is totally correct:
