I have heard this song only twice. The first time I was absolutely blown away by it's soulfulness. Last night I heard it again and WOW! It is such a beautiful song.It holds no particular meaning for me, but I can imagine a whole scene to this song. Mr. Kreis has an exceptional voice.

I agree that he's trying hard not to sleep with her but I think it may because wanting her is wrong. I think maybe one or both of them is involved with someone else so he has to deny himself and be a good guy. "And this hour holds more meaning than it ever could" With this line, it sounds like no matter what the circumstances, he can't let it mean more than what he wants it to.
This is a good song. I've heard it on vampire diaries so I've searched it. I think it portrays Damon's feelings towards Elena (not the sex thing)*chuckles. And how he tries to be a noble like his brother, Stefan. (I hope I'm making sense here) . XD hahaha

I heard this song on The Vampire Diaries and feel it's a shared soundtrack. The first verse is Damon's and the second is Elena's. It's about someone they're attracted to, and they don't want to act on it. The longer they stay, the more likely they will, so they should go. Ah, too late... Elena kissed him.
Parts of this soundtrack get discussed with Tyler on her birthday. It was meant to be a goodbye kiss.
