When all is said and done
Will we still feel pain inside?
Will the scars go away with night?
Try to smile for the morning light
It's like the best dream to have
Where everything is not so bad
Every tear is so alone
Like God himself is coming home to say

I, I can do anything
If you want me here
Yeah, I can fix anything
If you let me near
Where are those secrets now
That you're too scared to tell?
I'd whisper them all aloud
So you can hear yourself

Green trees were the first sign
The deepest blue, the clearest sky
The silence came with the brightest eyes
And turned water into wine
The children ran to see
The parents stood in disbelief
And those who knew braced for the ride
The Earth itself then came alive to say

I, I can do anything
If you want me here
And I can fix anything
If you let me near
Where are those secrets now
That you're too scared to tell?
I'd whisper them all aloud
So you can hear yourself

I'm sorry I have to say it but you look like you're sad
Your smile is gone, I've noticed it bad
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
I promise you this, a little's enough
I'm sorry I have to say it but you look like you're sad
Your smile is gone, I've noticed it bad
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
I promise you this, a little's enough

I'm sorry I have to say it but you look like you're sad
Your smile is gone, I've noticed it bad
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
I promise you this, a little's enough
I'm sorry I have to say it but you look like you're sad
Your smile is gone, I've noticed it bad
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
I promise you this, a little's enough
I'm sorry I have to say it but you look like you're sad (just a little)
Your smile is gone, I've noticed it bad (just a little)
The cure is if you let in just a little more love (just a little love)
I promise you this, a little's enough
I'm sorry I have to say it but you look like you're sad (just a little)
Your smile is gone, I've noticed it bad (just a little)
The cure is if you let in just a little more love (just a little love)
I promise you this, a little's enough

Oh and by the way! it IS THAT YOU'RE TOO SCARED TO TELL it's just logic Unless you've felt exactly like shit, you're smile is gone, and these references in the song, and have a lot a lot of secrets you can't relate and connect with that line. It just means a lot a lot, and has a deeper meaning if someone would help you release your secrets!

I'm not religious, but I'm spiritual, I believe and pray to God, but I don't go to Church, so this song is just perfect! Tom has that special gift, to send different deep and special meanings according to how you feel, using the same words. He's a genius!!! I'm glad blink ended; don't get me wrong, I like Blink, a lot, but AvA, they just make your life better, they ignite your spirit, and they have this magnifiscent sound, NO ONE has. AvA is pioneer, and has the best best lyrics and sounds a band can make. Blink was awsome, but it way too inmature, and a lot like other bands, and if they weren't working well together, that's how their legacy should stay, but Tom is so much more than that, he's original and innovator, and with a great message, I'm so happy we have Angels And Airwaves now.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
