Renaissance Lyrics

This night sky's brighter than any I've ever seen
Your words are rolling off your lips and I've never heard a voice so soothing
Your curly hair drapes in your eyes, and soon your hands fall into mine
That just goes to show this night is endless

You're right, I know I've been unfair, but so have you
And this affair is starting over
But days will go on anyways, just like they do everyday
And at least I know I'm spending them with you

The sun and the moon begin to share the sky
And our legs are intertwined
And your smiling face serves as my reflection
And this one last solemn kiss sends a shiver to my skin
That just goes to show this night is endless

You're right, I know I've been unfair, but so have you
And this affair is starting over
But days will go on anyways, just like they do everyday
And at least I know I'm spending them with you

Faded portraits on my wall
Staring back at me in spite
In spite of everything I've done
To prevent another fight
Everything seems clearer
through this broken mirror that was shattered by my fist
Love should never come to this

You're right, I know I've been unfair, but so have you
And this affair is starting over
But days will go on anyways, just like they do everyday
And at least I know I'm spending them with you

You're right, I know I've been unfair, but so have you
And this affair is starting over
But days will go on anyways, just like they do everyday
And at least I know I'm spending them with you

How can someone not have commented on this song??!! I love this song!!! I especially love the fact that they're from my home town!!! I think its about a guy who's remembering the good times with his gf and he's talking to her about the way things were in the past.
