(We are in control)

Send your armies
There's no man or machine who can stop me
And you'll soon see
I've come for vengeance
For the first son of Light
And I'm ready and I'm willing and I'm prepared to

Send me the best you've got!
Send me your strongest machine!
The fight my brother fought...
Here, now, will end with me!

Are you wounded?
Those of you who can...
Pick yourselves off the ground!
Hurry back!
Tell your leader!
You need more men!

Send me the best you've got!
Send me your strongest machine!
The fight my brother fought...
Here, now, will end with me!
Is this the best you've got?
This? This? your strongest machine?
Now with one power shot...
You'll see what vengeance means!

The shadow that covers your face
When your eyes shine
Just like mine
Step forward
Step into the light
If you're ready and you're willing and you're prepared to fight
So be it! Send your armies, there's no man or machine
Who can stop me
And you'll soon see
I've come for vengeance
For the fight son of Light
And I'm ready and I'm willing and I'm prepared to fight

Send me the best you've got!
Send me your strongest machine!
The fight my brother fought...
Here, now, will end with me!
Is this the best you've got?
This? This? Your strongest machine?
Now with one power shot...
You'll see what vengeance means.

Basically, Megaman comes to Dr. Wily's fortress in an attempt to avenge his brother and save mankind. He calls out a challenge to Dr. Wily, and systematically and easily destroys all that is sent to him. That's basically it.

    To add just a bit on the beautiful irony in the last verse;

While Megaman's been decimating Wiley's army while claiming vengence for his brother, the line,

"The shadow, it covers your face"

is the appearance of Protoman as the final line of defense for Wiley's army. But from the way the verse carries on as usual, it seems like Megaman doesn't realize who he is until Protoman reveals himself right between the end of the lyrics and the beginning of The Stand.

Also, I'm not sure about this, but I feel like the line,

    "Now with one power shot..."

sounds like it's supposed to be,

    "Now with one final shot..."

This song is freekin awesome. However, a couple of lyrics corrections:

"All you wounded..." or "All your wounded..."

Also Should be "Is...this...your strongest machine?"

and also "The shadow...it covers your face, but your eyes shine...just like mine."

Also, "I've come for vengeance...for the first son of light"

i like how the pauses in "send...me...the best you've got" can be interpreted to be either megaman talking to dr. wiley or to dr. light.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
