Jennifer Lyrics
I bring Jennifer flowers
I bring Jennifer cupcakes
I bring Jennifer snowcones
I bring Jennifer your brains
And we dance in the leaves
Echo up to our knees
And I cough and a sneeze
Only for Jennifer
I bring Jennifer wine
I bring Jennifer apple peels
For that's all that she needs
For a good time
And we put on our pants
And we sing and we dance
And the sun wonders past
Above me and Jennifer
Oh
I bring Jennifer sailboats
And Jennifer brings me the sky
We swim through the sea of artichokes
Awaiting the day that we'll die
And the trumpets will blow
And the water will flow
And a flower will grow
Above me and Jennifer
Jennifer
La la la la la
Jennifer
I bring Jennifer cupcakes
I bring Jennifer snowcones
I bring Jennifer your brains
Echo up to our knees
And I cough and a sneeze
Only for Jennifer
I bring Jennifer apple peels
For that's all that she needs
For a good time
And we sing and we dance
And the sun wonders past
Above me and Jennifer
And Jennifer brings me the sky
We swim through the sea of artichokes
Awaiting the day that we'll die
And the water will flow
And a flower will grow
Above me and Jennifer
La la la la la
Jennifer

Cool song, but the actual title of this is "Jennifer", not "I Bring Jennifer..."
I wish I could hear this song
when i listen to this song i get kinda confused, this doesnt sound like jeff? in fact, i m positive its not him, but i love this song just the same.
Actually, there is no "actual" title. Jennifer is just the title most people assume it has; none of the unreleased songs from this particular demo have titles.
do any of you guys either no where/how to get this song? or possibly have it yourself and be willing to share?
JAKIE THE HOBO - You're right, it doesen't sound like Jeff. A lot of the early songs, as well as the Everthing Is songs have that singing voice. I'm unsure if it actually is Jeff or someone else though.

A lot of great Neutral Milk Hotel bootlegs there.
Nah, it's definitely still Jeff singing. Keep in mind this is years apart from Aeroplane, where his voice is much more distinct and strong because he's been singing for so long. He also got older.
just sayin', but, i'm pretty sure it's "i bring jennifer yard rakes" instead of "yer brains" at the end of the first verse. cause, y'know, it fits better, with the rest of the song. and also, i think it's "and we dance in the leaves that go up to our knees", once again fitting in with the aforementioned "yard rake".
