I don't think it's suckish at all, I think they do the genre-combining thing very skillfully and successfully - well atleast they DID do until they split up -sob-
This track, by far one of their best. It reminds me of From First To Last's new album a bit, which is a bit more experimental too.

test icicles are this shit man! im not saying it cuz im some nme bummer, fuck that this guys are actually really fuckin good they knew how to make hxc/metal riffs and techniques do well with dance bass lines and beats and thats something
nothing. they kinda suck 'cause there's just too many genres mixed into one. some songs are catchy though.
