Q&A
crystal queen Lyrics
i want the crystal queen.
go call her on the phone.
she smells like cigarettes.
she feels like silicone.
she feels like silicone.
i want the crystal queen, hey.
she'll kill the dream.
she'll kill the dream, the crystal queen.
september '95 i bought her on the street.
i took her home a couple times,
now she never leaves.
she never seems to leave.
i want the crystal queen.
she'll kill the dream.
she'll kill the dream, the crystal queen.
go call her on the phone.
she smells like cigarettes.
she feels like silicone.
she feels like silicone.
she'll kill the dream.
she'll kill the dream, the crystal queen.
i took her home a couple times,
now she never leaves.
she never seems to leave.
she'll kill the dream.
she'll kill the dream, the crystal queen.

The booklet says "September 9 to 5, I bought her on the street".
Being that Cornog was homeless for a while and tasted the gritty underbelly of poverty in NYC, I think this is pretty clearly about a prostitute. Beneath that, he seems to be saying that her dependency is taking down his life with hers.
wtf, that new thing that shows up at the end of the lyrics--"lyricfind"--won't let me edit anything, and it's not even typed the way i submitted it anymore.. i didn't use any capital letters! that is a retarded, unnecessary, and inconvenient feature that i hope songmeanings won't keep using. i'm pretty sure what's going on is, if a song is popular enough for lyricfind to know about it, those 3 lines of text show up automatically at the bottom of every single lyric page that is in their database, and it changes the already existing lyrics posted by a songmeanings user and swaps it with their version. i've noticed that it doesn't come up on song lyrics that are by more obscure bands.
