Foxy Foxy Lyrics
He who gets slapped and he who gets saved,
He who brutalizes the timeless stage.
He is the mongrel, he wants it all,
He lives for relics, hang on the wall.
Don't you wanna ride it?
Educated Horses
Don't you wanna ride it?
Educated Horses
Foxy, Foxy, what's it gonna be?
Foxy, Foxy, what's it gonna be?
Foxy, Foxy, what's it gonna be?
Foxy, Foxy, what's it gonna be?
She who looks back, and she looks away,
She internalizes the motion wave.
She is the butcher,
She wants the air,
She hides the scars under her hair.
Don't you wanna ride it?
Educated Horses

ahem: "It was a weird kind of phrase, like, that I remembered as something as a kid. You know, my parents, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles, the whole family, were involved in carnival business and, like, circus business, so as a kid, we would get dragged to these things, and we'd have to spend all this time there. And that was just one of the attractions I remember, what they would call the trained animals, you know, educated horses." -Rob Zombie
Not only do I not understand the meaning...Im hoping good ol' Rob didnt go soft on us.
This song makes me think of Gulliver's Travels because I think Gulliver's third stop is a place with talking, educated horses. I'm pretty sure this song isn't about that though. It has to be about something though.
While the educated horses is right about the title of the cd it isn't about the song.Rob was on a radio station here a few nights ago he gave us the reasons behind the songs. He said he keeps hearing how kids today talk and thought about what happened to all the good words like foxy...so he wrote foxy foxy to bring it back....p.s. he said while foxy is a good word you should say it twice (foxy foxy) and give him credit :)
Fools, this song is about having sex with women (educated horses, dont you want to ride them?)
Not only did i think of Gulliver's Travels, I thought of the Herald of Valdimar. Also I think Rob was being vague and avoiding some of his motives. He = possessor. She = possessed. How could this not be about sex? Yet i challenge the lister/reader to broaden the term sex to the act of creation. I think asking the listener if they want to ride educated horses is a call for social change broader than simply using new words. Corrective thinking leads to corrective action.
At the beginning of the song the girl says, "Can't you work it harder?" Obviously this song is about women degrading men. Yes it is about sex but not of men having sex with women, but wheather or not the woman is going to give it up.
Hate to break it to you people but the whole thing I posted was correct I listened to station he was on for an hour where he personally explained what the songs he writes are about and that was his reason behind this one
That might be what the song means to Rob, but it will mean something different to different people. Thats the great thing about music. You put it out there and hope people relate. Thats also the great thing about this site, everybody can post what the song means to them.
yes, let's all get along, because in the end I'm better than all of you because I posted the lyrics, so suck it. :P
