This song portrays the heroin problem in Baltimore, Maryland. In this song, 50 Cent is writing and singing as if he were the actual drug heroin. The song is meant to be listened to as if "heroin" were telling the story. This song also portrays a love relationship with a girl similar to a relationship that someone would have with heroin. He mentions, "If you give birth, I'll already be in love with your kids" meaning that if a heroin addict uses heroin while they are pregnant the baby will be effected too.

I don't really like a lot of rap like this, but I love this song.

This is the drug speaking, to somebody who seems to have not used in a day or two maybe, but saying that it knows she needs it because of the withdrawal she's feeling.

Heroin is saying to the addict that her sister has seemeed interested, and has used other drugs, specifically cocaine but using heroin is a whole nother thing. Heroin is then saying, you should feel "cool" so to speak by using it, because so many stars have. It's saying, come use me again, do whatever you have to, sell your mom's tv. I like the line 'no one said lovin' me'd be easy' a lot. With heroin, you do literaly fall in love with it. It becomes your everything.

Definitely my favorite verse. The last 2 lines are really powerful. Heroin is basically saying that you're going to be stuck with me as your addiction forever, and I'll be with you when you die. To make sure that happens, I'll do whatever it takes. Pretty much saying, the only goal for addiction is to kill you.

i listen to all types of music,and dont particularly dislike any genre...but i do however dislike 50. but i must say i fuckn love this song, just as i love other metaphorical songs e.g. me and my girfriend, golden brown etc. the creativity and the relationship with heroin and the user, he describes it in such a way its mind blowing.. alot of people i know have listened to this song and havnt quite understood it and it pisses me off coz they love 50 and its such an amazing song.

50 cent is personifing heroin (I think he used to deal heroin before he became famous), hes talking about how great she feels on heroin but when she betrays him (i.e trys to get off heroin) he gets angry (cold sweats, nausea, you fat bitch dont ever try that again etc) great song, my only 50 cent song, not really a big fan but great song none the less.
