Reach Out Of The Darkness Lyrics
I think it's so groovy now
That people are finally getting together
I thinks it's so wonderful and how
That people are finally getting together
Reach out in the darkness
Reach out in the darkness
Reach out in the darkness
And you may find a friend
I knew a man that I did not care for
And then one day this man gave me a call
We sat and talked about things on our mind
And now this man he is a friend of mine
Don't be afraid of love
Don't be afraid, don't be afraid to love
Everybody needs a little love
Everybody needs somebody
That they can be thinking of
That people are finally getting together
I thinks it's so wonderful and how
That people are finally getting together
Reach out in the darkness
Reach out in the darkness
Reach out in the darkness
And you may find a friend
And then one day this man gave me a call
We sat and talked about things on our mind
And now this man he is a friend of mine
Don't be afraid of love
Don't be afraid, don't be afraid to love
Everybody needs a little love
Everybody needs somebody
That they can be thinking of

i love this song...its sound is pretty much the epitome of 60s pop...same with its message...very hippie movement-esque i wish i could find this song but i cant seem to find it anywhere...they only have a karaoke version of it on iTunes and napster...anyone know where i could find the actual song?
Grooveshark has it.

Probably because the lyric is "Reach Out In the Darkness," but the tune is actually called "Reach Out OF the Darkness."
This song is too typical of the era: naive, immature, trite, dated, silly. I just heard it on the radio after going several decades. I hope never to hear it again. It's SO bad, I cant even laugh at it.
@MP3754 Pretty sure nobody has put a gun to your head and forced you to listen. And seeing as you went out of your way to make that comment means you went LOOKING for this song. You must have some type of feelings for it. I don\'t go out of my way to criticize things I don\'t like, I try my best to avoid them. But that\'s just me.

@MP3754 You must be a millennial or GenZ-er - you know, The Useless Generations. I commented to state my opinion of the song. Don\'t like it? Don\'t read it, Nanci.
