In my opinion the live version if this cover is the only cover of this song that does it some kind of justice. The other ones are just well... Not good?

this is obviously a homage to the undertones who were a band from Derry in the North Of Ireland who did a famous cover of thsi song in the eighties.

This song is awesome i love both versions but they both bring different aspects tothe lyrics snow patrols version bring emotion and soothes you, when the undertones version simply rocked sorry but you cannot slag off this song :D
