Three Is an Orgy, Four Is Forever Lyrics

One is for liberty
Two is for evil
Three is an orgy
Four is forever

There are circles of forever
Made of fire; made of stone
There are circles of a lifetime
Made of silver; made of gold

Five is a star
Six is for the beast inside
Seven is for the plunging of gods
Eight is where it all begins again

One is for the soul
Two is for the women
Three is an orgy
Four is forever

There are circles of forever
Made of fire; made of stone
There are circles of a lifetime
Made of silver; made of gold

Five is for the sun
Six is for lust
Seven is for the fallen angel
Eight is where it all begins again

There are circles of forever
Made of fire; made of stone
There are circles of a lifetime
Made of silver; made of gold

I like this artist (collectively). The song has to do with the eight temptations of man (or better known as the seven sins). The five point star is the pentagram. The silver and gold reference confuses me. It's unfortunate that not one listener has commented on any of this artists' work.

I think these verses express the categories of values. The circles of fire and stone represent the immortal values, such as dignity, truth, freedom, etc. just like fire and stone are part of the nature's cycle, they are here forever.

The circles of silver and gold represent the ephemeral values, such as materialsm, fame and wealth. They are intricately human, and can only last a lifetime.

Fascinating how you can find a MUCH deeper meaning in a song that sounds like pure sex. Thanks.
