It's a great song and I believe it's about the break up of a relationship, and the reason is because of the band's busy schedule and success, so the line 'and though up beyond the charts we might be climbing, to do it without you is very frightening'
why on earth is this band not bigger? This song is ace. As the guy above said, its just about the strain of the relationship as one moves into full time work and one is in a band.
