i wonder why no one has left a comment here yet.. i'm in love with this song! Obvously it's a song about taking chances. Live life as exciting you can get it or you will regret! It may be tough sometimes but fun.. It is risky to drink alchohol, but you'll come back for more anyways..

you got it backwards. here's what was on their site: "when i wrote the lyrics for this song, i was thinking about my friends Chris and Blaine that were murdered at an elementary school over a drug deal three years ago. it effected our community for a while, but everyone eventually got over it and continued the lifestyle of getting wasted everyday. and its like, nobody learned anything from it, almost like their deaths were in vain. i have seen way too many lives drastically changed over such a thing, and yet we carry on with it as a way of life, ignoring the consequences or maybe obscuring them in our own way denying that we may face them"
