Revolver Lyrics
Now after all, don't it feel like nothing
Like walking away
Like a mouth full of rain
At 12:00
The bell starts ringing
A dog starts barking
And you're still missing
Still missing something
You've never known what it was
And I'm not one for thinking twice
But I know this much is true
The earth will turn, the pot'll burn
And you are my revolver
Just waking up
Some dogs start barking
A bell starts ringing
And you're still missing
And after all, don't it feel like nothing
Like walking away
Like a mouth full of rain
I'm holding on
'Cause you're my revolver
And I dreamed of ending
In a violent way...
Like walking away
Like a mouth full of rain
The bell starts ringing
A dog starts barking
And you're still missing
Still missing something
You've never known what it was
But I know this much is true
The earth will turn, the pot'll burn
And you are my revolver
Some dogs start barking
A bell starts ringing
And you're still missing
Like walking away
Like a mouth full of rain
'Cause you're my revolver
And I dreamed of ending
In a violent way...

I put the correct ones up under Mark Lanegan at the beginning of the month These are very wrong.
Cause it's obviously Mark Lanegan, with her just singing backing vocals. It's also been stated in interviews that that's how this song was written, amongst some of the others. Aso, this section didn't exist when I put them up, and what's wrong with cross referencing?
So it's not dumb, unlike your inability to punctuate or transcribe lyrics.
"don't IT feel like nothing."
If it's strictly a Mark Lanegan song, it's funny that Isobel did a solo recording of it and that she plays it in concert when Mark Lanegan isn't present.
It was her project, not Mark's. She wrote all the lyrics and the music. Why should it be under his name?
This was actually the one song on the album that was written by Mark Lanegan - Isobel wrote the rest, except for the Hank Williams cover.

Dear god, you all really are a bunch of wankers. Did you even read what I wrote? Obviously not. Grow up.
it's a good song nonetheless. i'm a big trees and Mark fan so that's how i came across his side project with isobel.
the song in itself is very creepy in it's lyrics. i get out of that as long as you are with someone you love, then you don't want to die, but if that person isn't there, then maybe you can't go on living anymore
