this song could also be about an ended relationship looks like the couple broke up but one of the two wont leave the other alone

there's an internal war between them as one of the two wants to get back with the other while the other person doesnt want to pursue the relationship anymore but just wants to move on

This band is very good friends with Aiden.In fact this song features wiL from aiden.They are like Aiden but with a more of a hardcore influence rather than horror punk.Great song by the way

I think the less ovbivious meaning is that it is about an internal problem. Maybe a drug adiction? And the singer has decided to end it though he knows it will be hard (this war starts today Declared, this battle begins today This path is littered with friends and enemies). And he wants to know if his loved ones are just willing to hang on long enough to see him finish this. ((please say) Back home you'll wait for me). Because he loves this person(s) so much '[he'll] do anything to make it home again'
