Let the Bells Ring Lyrics

That's the way that it is
I live under a bell-shaped curve
For being average

I know you have been wanting to mention
I treat myself because I'm dying for attention

And then I hold a sword in my hand
And climb up the mountain
And call the names of people I know
Who'll rock me in the end

Lie rest assured you'll have your own
Reverberating walls
Lie rest assured you'll have your own
Reverberate the halls

That's the way that it goes
I climbed so bloody high I couldn't stop my bleeding nose
I treat myself and it feels good, so I treat more
And when I spin touching you's less of a chore

And then I take a sword in my hand
And climb up the mountain
And call the names of people I know
Who'll rock me in the end

Lie rest assured you'll have your own
Reverberate the walls
Lie rest assured you'll have your own
Reverberate the halls

Let the bells rings (x6)

According to The Organ's website, the line is "I treat myself... so I treat more", not "I dream of death". And then "I take a sword in my hand", although it does sound more like 'hold'. It should also be "When I spin touching you's less of a chore".

This song's really beautiful.

It damn right better be "I take a sword in my hand and climb up a mountain" because that's the line that inspired me to ditch all of my university classes one day and climb up a nearby mountain.

Thanks for the correction, UBER GEEK!
