Anybody remember this in "National Lampoon's 'Vacation'"?
At the beginning of the song, it sounds like this couple has broken up for good. It was probably a marriage proposal she said "no" to. When they were together, she was never faithful to him. Either she never loved him or she did love him but was not able to stay with anyone.
